To me, it's about a person who just had a breakup, and they're accepting it but wishing it didn't happen. The "distance between them" could be just like.. not talking anymore or something. And the person doesn't want to date anyone else because they want their ex to come back to them. They want to go back to their ex, but then they decide it's best not to. But that's just *my* point of view on things. There are no right or wrong answers because that's what it means to me. All lyrics mean something different to every person; and they mean something different to the person who wrote them. |

| I completely agree. It's about a relationship gone wrong. Where'd these demons come from tonight? Where'd these hålos come from tonight? To me, this song means a lot. My cousin and his girlfriend were in a horrible accident on December 19, 2006. He died, but she lived. To me, it's written in his girlfriend's POV. To Wil it probably means something different. But seeing as he put "Where'd these demons come from tonight?" and "Where'd theses halos come from tonight?" I think it could very well be about death. |
