Ghost

i really like this song. seems to have a similar theme to 'black dress' about ghosts and spirits of loved ones. perhaps its based on a dream darren had?

I don't actually like this song so much... probably my least favourite from the new album. I also don't get it. Maybe if someone explained it to me I'd like it more? :)

It seems like it's about murder.

i'm not quite sure, but this is what i think.

Two lovers dressed in their nightgowns, sleeping but their souls are somewhere else. Nobody came when they called for help. There was a ghost in the boy's bedroom wearing the boy's mother's perfume. He didn't know he would see her soon. It's watching it change. It's somewhere in the house. It can't get away and baby cried her eyes out. It's watching it change. It's somewhere in the house. the parents died, and his mothers ghost comes to watch him grow up and all. the baby sister can see the ghost and she doesn't like it?

There was a leak in the kitchen sink. The carpet was red, now it's faded pink. There was enough for the walls to drink. they drowned maybe?

We are blinded by the gleam. We are following the sheen. It's like nothing we have seen before. Now I can't tell us apart. Take the dollar from your heart. It has taken everything we are. the children are okay, so the ghosts 'go into the light', if you will.

This song has to be my favourite from the album. It's about Death stalking you in your own house and no matter what you do, it'll always get you in the end. You can't escape Death and it takes you by surprise.

I love this song. But it really freaks me out sometimes.
