Thanks TeamAlphaDoG, I had been meaning to change that but I just never got around to it. I fixed that and a few other mistakes as well. As for the song itself, Fuel did an exceptional job covering it. It's a shame Brett's not in the band anymore, I'd love to watch him perform this live. |

I can't believe no one has commented on this yet! Basically this song is about temptation and it's effect on people. No one can completely avoid it, but if you at least try to you will be able to live a much happier life because you won't feel the disappointment in yourself or suffer the consequences that giving into temptation brings about. I'm sad that The Showdown doesn't sound as brutal as they did on A Chorus of Obliteration, but I really dig their new sound, it's a throwback to classic metal. It's not as hard but it's still just as powerful. |

Do you guys think that he killed them? I do personally, he obviously knew what they were both up to and knew that he could catch them in the act if he found them in "his apartment." He very easily could have come prepared with a gun. More lyrics that reinforce this are "You screamed his name as I came in your direction," possibly because he was already killed or dying. When he says "I take a step to the left" this could mean that he steps in front of the door and is blocking her in the apartment. "Now you see me" I think means that now she can see the other side of him, the dark jeaous side. Basically I think they both got killed. I mean after all, their name IS Bullet For My Valentine... |

I just got back from River Riot, a concert in Council Bluffs, Iowa, this weekend and I got to see Fuel play this song. This was one of the songs that my buddy and I hoped they would play and everyone went nuts when they did. The new lead singer isn't half bad, he actually sounded a lot like Brett Scallions when he sang Fuel's older songs. He was pretty neat, he came out to the crowd and was giving out fives and since we were front and center I got one... |
