Yea, this is by no means a "happy" song. lol, yea, it's about a girl cheating on her bf. Not only that but after he sees this he explodes on his gf and theguy she's cheating on him with. All of their lyrics can be taken literally, thats what sucks about this band. There's no complexity in the songs but instrument wise they own!

It's a great song, that's for sure. The band aren't exactly groundbreaking but they never intented to be. They're good at what they do.
Since when did a band have to be complex? Alright, maybe they would be better thay way, but what's to say there is a deeper level, and you just can't see deep enough into it?
i agree with my_gf that some chick got caught cheating on her guy. it's pretty suggestivehere, saying she was on her knees in his appartment! after that though i think he probably kicked the other guy's ass ("fists start to fly - say goodbye"). he wishes he could forget what she'd done to him, but he can't.

The person in this song, maybe even Matt himself comes to Room 409 in a apartment complex where he catches his girlfriend cheating on him.
"Now I can choose what to do with both of you" is an interesting lyric because he knows he has the proof and there can't be any lies because he sees it right there.
He loved her, and she was being two faced and backstabbing, and he begins to get full of so much rage as he watches this go on..
Actually, I believe he begins to punch the girl down instead of the guy, or beat both of their asses. She's crawling away from him then fists start to fly.

Anyway he's trying to sit there and get over this like a man, but it's killing him inside and repeatedly filling him up with rage, he just keeps playing it over in his head.
