it kinda bothers me that everyone thinks the "so i made love yeah i been fucked" thing is about him having gay sex. i dont really think thats what hes trying to say. to me i thought he was trying to say hes been fucked over but that it was a play on words. but i could be wrong. im sure hes mingled with some men in his time but i dont hink thats the point of the song. |

not my fav on the album but deff a good song. has a great meaning and great beat. i just think its funny how in each interview he says something different about what the song means. i think he enjoys fucking with people to see if people are really listening and trying to figure out the meanings for themselves. |

i LOVE LOVE LOVE the harmonizing with rachael yamagata (im assuming its her... its sounds like her). i love how they switch it up between the lines. how she sings low and then they switch. its simply beautiful. i find myself going back to this song over and over again. this is the stuff i like. fuck the haters that said digital ash was shit... this reminds me of digital ash and its perfect. i hope he performs this at the concert. just amazing. his metaphors drive me nuts. im jealous. |

i was listening to an interview or reading a magazine. i cant remember which, and it was saying that conor and mike called up a bunch of random psychic hotlines and recorded the people talking. they asked questions about cassadaga or somethign to get the answers they wanted. it ended up calling a couple hundred dollars. it was an intersting article. either way, i love this song. his vioice is so different soft in this song. i especially love the part where he says hooray. its so plain and soft and pefect. i cant wait to see him next week. |

i dont really see how this painting thing ties into the song but okay? anyway, yes a great song. stands out from the rest of the album in my opinion. at first i used to skip it actually. it sounded a lot happier then it really is. when i actually let it get to the part where he screams i was really moved. i just think its thre realization that sometimes there are things you cant fix and even when you go to outside things (such as pills) for help, they do nothing. maybe its about his struggle to understand that there are things ware are not capable of making better. who knows? |

i always thought that while it could be an abortion
perhaps someone lost a baby or something because they were doing drugs of some sort and that they feel guilty when they lay next to each other when they are coming down because they know that had an affect on why the baby was lost or what not. maybe im thinking too far into it. if people say they read in a magazine that he said its about abortion then im sure it is. who knows? maybe hes fucking wtih us all. haha. either way... i cant wait to see him perform. :) |
