My first thoughts while reading these lyrics were about war.. like immediately after some sort of disaster, and thinking about how things used to be.. Actually these lyrics made me think of Grave of the Fireflies.. but this is just my interpretation.. |

um.. what? You really think only one person had ever called him Bradley? Besides that, this song came out in 1992, but was probably written before then. Tragic Kingdom didn't come out until 1995. Are you saying Brad could see into the future, knew what the album cover would look like, and hinted at the identity of this "ruca" with some vague line like "she's selling oranges by the freeway"..? jesus christ.. |

something that always bothers me with bands like this is people waste so much time arguing over if a band has sold out or not.. it's the same thing over and over again.. i'm just going to comment on the lyrics while i'm here.. i really like how brody writes. sometimes it's like you have to have felt a certain way before to fully understand what she's writing about. other times the lyrics are just really simple and powerful. these are my favorite parts of this song..

this song sounds so sad. it almost makes me cry. i don't know if its kyo's accent or just how he sings but i almost couldn't tell this was in english. his voice is gorgeous though, especially at the end. all these emotions flow out of this song and it just seems effortless. kyo could probably write something in gibberish and we would be able to understand what its about. ah dir en grey is amazing<3 |

maybe i'm wrong, but i always thought this song was about a couple. like they were all inlove when they were young, then some situation forced them apart until they found each other again years later. corny lol but it would be sweet |

i like how the lyrics are abstract. it makes the song more personal because each person can interpret it differently. the chorus in this song always reminded me of when i used to go to shows on friday nights where the local bands played, and how i would feel lonely and hope a certain someone would be there.. |

i never realized most of this song is in english. its so hard to understand what kyo is saying but i almost wonder if he did it on purpose. i didn't like this song much before, but then i listened to it while reading the lyrics and it gave me chills its so awesome. i love how emotional his voice gets. |
