hmm. i think of this song in another way. i think its about feeling really bad, because of this certain person, who maybe broke up with you or did something to you, that makes you sad. and you cant get it out of your head. you just want it to be good again, and youll 'sacrifice all you have in life' to move on, and on that way clear your conscience.

for me, this song reminds me of my ex boyfriend in some way. i was really low and depressed, tried to commit suicide and all that, and my boyfriend tried so hard to help me, but i refused to get his help. i just saw all the bad sides, and got even lower, and he couldnt take that. although he still loved me, he broke up with me, because of that. ("I can't help you fix yourself, But at least I can say I tried, I'm sorry but I gotta move on with my own life")

aw, i love this song so much. its perfect to hear, when youre depressed. hmm. i agree with AshJ. its probably about him, losing a girlfriend, it must be a girlfriend since for example "The bed we fucked in smells the same..", and i think hes committing suicide in the end. really sad song. |
