ok frmo reading this noone here knows what a catalyst is and its basically something that causes a "motion" to "stir" between two or more persons/things whithout itself (the catalyst) being affected. So i think its about the person being in something causing events to take place and he becomes the catalyst meaning the events continue he just is no longer affected "let the fire consume me" "let the courage run thru me" its talking about giving him/her the strength to let the events not effect them |

FINALLY a song that realises what is wrong with this place.(america) if everyone heard this song and took it to heart i personally think america would be a lil better. lol this song is awesome it talks about how the people go in blind just doing what the govt says and following instead of leading. This country was built on the foundation of the people and this song talks about how the people are broken and with a broken foundation we will fail only the goverment is too messed up to show ppl that so it covers it up with war and exciting news. |

To me this song talks about being headstrong and continuing to do what you do even if its not the best or what is expected and the one line that really hits home is "the waters come but the fire still rages on here" that line is incredible to me because what i took form it and the rest of the song is with that and the whole we point our fingers but never accept the blame. this tells me that some people have such a fire raging inside them that they hide behind their mistakes so things dont get so bad on them and even tho there are times when things seem ok (the water comes) it is only just worse because that means they will have to go BACK to the hardships. I can personally relate most of everythign i do to that one line. RISE AGAINST is the greatest band around |
