Three Hours Back Lyrics

Let's go!

Indifference grows,
indifference feeds on me
A sickness fills the pathways where I breathe
Miles away from where I want to be,
want to be

One day you will see!
Nothing is this simple, this simple
One day you will see!
It takes its toll on me, toll on me

Hey!
Lie awake and wait out all those
Days!
Till I finally come home
Changed and jaded, everything that I hate
I'll be there...

Trading in my youth, for broken wings
As I slowly watch you
Walk away, so walk away
Will you stay, will you stay,
will you walk away?

Fall asleep to flashing screens
and paper cuts, yeah
Waking up with vacant eyes
and broken hearts again

One day you will see!
(One day you will see!)
Nothing is this simple, this simple
One day you will see!
(One day you will see!)
It takes its toll on me, toll on me

Hey!
Lie awake and wait out all those
Days!
Till I finally come home
Changed and jaded, everything that I hate
I'll be there...

I love this song. I'm not sure, but I think it's about a break up - the girl dumped him and the end of their relationship has affected him in big ways. Hey, I don't know if that's what the song is supposed to mean, but I'm kind of getting the impression that that's it. Great song, though.

it sounds liek hes in this never-ending cycle of "2 week" - meaningless relationships...

and he cant find love or something--->

"WAKING UP WITH VACANT EYES AND BROKEN HEARTS AGAIN!!"

and...

"miles away from where i want to be, want to be"

this song is the best! i think i might be about having a broken childhood, or possibly the feeling after a relationship has ended. i am not entirly sure. but either way it's a great song. xxx

this song is really good. it sounds like he had this one meaningful relationship then he was dumped and he's been tring to fill that space with pointless realationships that don't last very long, just so he can show that one girl that he doesn't need her

even though you could draw a comparison of this song being about a girl or break up or whatever, it isnt. i have the booklet from silversteins delux edition cd and shane says its about a time when they were on tour and he got reallys ick with pnemonia and started doubting his commitment to the band but hey, songs can mean whatever the listener wants it to mean for them

this song is about wasting time. "trading in my youth for broken wings" that line there gives it away. saying he is giving up something valuble for something worthless aka he feels ripped off

it doesnt really have a meaning...shane said he wrote it about how he was feeling at the time just to get stuff off his mind
