I.Love.This.Song. Everything about it is everything about I'm going through...loving someone and having a crazy on and off relationship but it's just taking up too much out of you, and you wonder if it's all really worth it. Her voice is amazing in this song-like she's really like, lost and exhausted from all the crap they both keep putting up with because they think there's something there. Lust, maybe, but no more love-at least not enough to keep them together-too much miscommunication for her to keep pretending she can do this. "There's no use hiding from my misery".

simple-he doesn't wanna face the fact that he's breaking up with her, so he drinks down all his sorrows.
i love love love the line "ignorance is bliss." I don't drink, but i can definitely relate with the fact that when something great has gone away, you just don't want to even think about it or face it, and being ignorant makes you feel better, if only for a little while. great song, one of my favorites. |

Definitely the best song on the album--at first I actually thought it was about him meeting a girl that totally changed everything that he thought before, and that maybe the path he was going through was leading him to bad things and she helped. Now I see that it can definitely be about God too, and how his love made him snap out of his "blur" that he was putting himself through (drugs?) |

I don't really like the other songs on her album, but this one shows more vulnerability, which i love. I agree with SE7ENfreak, that she has to convince herself about getting someone else, but we all do that. I love her voice when she says "I can have another you in a minute" :) |
