| Josh Ritter – Folk Bloodbath Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| Bambini, I was there too last night. What an amazing gig! This song was brilliant and it's great to hear folk songs without the moral! | |
| Jon Mclaughlin – Throw My Love Around Lyrics | 15 years ago |
| What a song! Self-explanatory. Best on the album for me, especially when the girl comes in. Anyone know her name? | |
| Cajun Dance Party – The Race Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I think this is about wanting to follow your dreams but always making excuses when people ask you why you haven't got off your arse yet to change things. Awesome tune! |

| Fionn Regan – Hey Rabbit Lyrics | 18 years ago |

| Arctic Monkeys – This House Is a Circus Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| i love the line "we're struggling with the notion that it's life not film" | |
| Lior – Building Ships Lyrics | 18 years ago |

I think this is about a relationship where the girl doesn't to be in it anymore, seen here: 'When my little sweetheart jumped overboard I threw a line blind into the sea But she was free To drift on' And he 'takes a while to get used to the motion'. Simple enough. |

| Ray LaMontagne – Within You Lyrics | 19 years ago |

| Forward, Russia! – Eleven Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
This may be way to obvious for iFR! but I think it might be something to do with the Boxing Day 2004 Tsunami. But that is only based on the lines "They came on the crest of a wave" , "Tsunami that rip at the skin" and "A great tidal wave/Over the house on the hill". Any have better ideas? It seems to have a 'nautical' feel to it. |

| Stephen Fretwell – Do You Want To Come With? Lyrics | 19 years ago |

Lyric correction. "Silly green eyed monsters on the shore" is "See the green eyed monsters on the shore" |

|
| Forward, Russia! – Seven Lyrics | 19 years ago |
|
I think this song is about the war (in Iraq?) "Bring that Jolly Roger on home". The troops? "Do you think it would take A disaster to make people see?" Would it take a disaster to bring them home? "What is it something about you can't say?" The real reason they went to war can't be said? "Right at the core do you leave? No". Stuck in the middle in the war zone and they stay there? Any other suggestions? |
