John Williamson – Galleries Of Pink Galahs Lyrics 17 years ago
This whole song makes me think of home... All of John Williamsons songs are just *so* true to the Australian bush - the galahs, the apricots, the stars.

Beautiful.

John Williamson – COOTAMUNDRA WATTLE Lyrics 17 years ago
I think he's older, and so is his wife, and the children have all grown up and moved away from home. He's trying to tell her to just take things easy, but I can imagine her as a tough old bird, who is always looking to keep busy.

Peter, Paul and Mary – Puff (The Magic Dragon) Lyrics 18 years ago
I think its simply talking about a childhood imagination (imaginary friends, anyone?), and how as we grow up we lose that. And thats sad!

Eagles – After The Thrill Is Gone Lyrics 19 years ago
I just love this song. Like lots of the Eagles songs, its just so relaxed, you dont have to think about it, you just know how he feels. Thats the reason I love The Eagles. They are truly genius

Eagles – Hole in the World Lyrics 19 years ago
It's a beautiful song, that has a place closer to my heart than 9/11. I'm not American, and I was not affected personally by the events of that day (I am in no way saying it as not a horrible day, but I have no personal ties there at all).

It is such a fitting song in this world of ours today... We're not accpeting, and until we are, we will not reach the 'promised land'.

Inkubus Sukkubus – Burning Times Lyrics 19 years ago
It's a song about accepting people, no matter their beliefs. "Children resist a return to the Burning Times" just means that if we dont accept these people, it will be like the burning timems over again.

I think this could apply to people who are Pagan also, because I know a lot of Pagan people who have something against Christian people or whoever... maybe one day it will be us doing the persecuting?
