i think this song is about highschool. and how its so hard to fit yourself into it. how only the people are judgement on the way you are and look. at teh begingin of teh song, i imagined being looked over, liek when your writing something, a test or a poem or somthign, and people want to know what your doing, and you curl up so your paper is three inches form your face, and you turn away, with your knees up at your shoulders, sheltering yourslef as you write. i dunno. i may very well be wrong. |

this song has the hardest bass line i ever heard. not in teh sense that it is fast, but so prominent. dont want it all is a song that i dont think chris novoselic or dave grohl had teh right to put on the box set. this is too personal of a song, and should not ever have been made public. but i do really like it. |

i dont think tehse are the right words. no the less, i thought this song was one of the best kurt ever wrote. it has sort of a false hope, souned in his voice, but the guitar and the lyrics bring it down. i can almost see him, in the basement, playing the guitar for a four track recoreder and mumbling the words in a sort of mornful sad slow way. you can feel that. or at least i can... i dunno tahts what i think of taht song.... |
