Its sounds to me like he is pissed at his mom because now he is rich she wants to be in his life again. "a motherless cub abandoned in the stages of birth mother lost the mid wife" I think this means he maybe was put up for adoption or just may have had a shity relationship with her, but I kinda think he may have been put up for adoption because of this line :"that's why you never mention my name to them denying us all of the moment" Maybe his mom had some more kids and she does not want to tell them about him. "what brought you back to this place I knew you'd never learn" says to me, his mom came back to him, maybe for money...... I don't know Kick ass song anyway! :) |

| I don't think this song is about war, sure the song fits the video, but I think Gerard made the video to surprise people. He said himself that everyone thought the video would be about ghost, so he wanted to do something different. He also said that MCR wrote the song about the fear of never coming home or something like that. But anyway its my favorite song and video and yes I cried too. | |

I love this song. The meaning is simple, Its wanting to talk to someone who you love because you have grown apart from them. Sounds a lot like my life. Calling someone in this song is probably a metaphor for want to get back with that person. "I close my eyes and I keep seeing things Rainbow waterfalls Sunny liquid dreams" Is probably a way of saying he is falling in love. Whatever it means its still a very good song, If I start a band, I would like to do a cover of this song. |
