It sounds crazy, but I'm almost certain that Ian Brown sings "hollandaise, it don't please" at the start of the song. No sites seem to have that but listening through headphones, I'm sure that's what he's saying...

It's cool how this song keeps the same repetitive beat going throughout but still sounds great.
I don't have much of the VU's stuff (I have, like, 2 songs....) but Lou Reed sounds cool on this song.
Especially the "Up to brownstone/Up three flights of stairs/Everybody-body's pinned you/But nobody cares" part. |

To me, the line 'Then you'll walk them home for the cells' sounds more like 'It's been like a walk in the park for myself'.
And when he says 'Then now you'll dig for your road back to hell', it sounds more like 'Now you're keeping your own kind in hell'. But that's just my opinion. |
