Moneytalks Lyrics
Tailored suits, chauffeured cars
Fine hotels and big cigars
Up for grabs, up for a price
Where the red hot girls keep on dancing through the night
The claim is on you
The sights are on me
So what do you do
That's guaranteed
Hey little girl, you want it all
The furs, the diamonds, the painting on the wall
Come on, come on, marry for the money
Come on, come on, listen to the moneytalk
Come on, come on, marry for the money
Come on, come on, listen to the moneytalk
A French maid, foreign chef
A big house with king size bed
You've had enough, you ship them out
The dollar's up, down, you'd better buy the pound
The claim is on you
The sights are on me
So what do you do
That's guaranteed
Hey little girl, you broke the laws
You hustle, you deal, you steal from us all
Come on, come on, marry for the money
Come on, come on, listen to the moneytalk
Come on, come on, marry for the money
Come on, come on, listen to the moneytalk
Moneytalks, yeah, yeah
Money talks, B.S. walks
Money talks, come on, come on
Come on, come on, marry for the money
Come on, come on, listen to the moneytalk
Come on, come on, marry for the money
Come on, come on, listen to the moneytalk
Come on, come on, marry for the money (moneytalks)
Come on, come on, listen to the moneytalk (moneytalks)
Come on, come on, marry for the money (I hear it talk)
Come on, come on, listen to the moneytalk (yeah, yeah)

Its about the fact, how much money controls us all. Its a great song and it says, that money is NOT all we need.
The meaning of this song is actually so funny. It's from the point of view of a guy who is really rich and is attempting to use that to get girls.
"Hey little girl, you want it all The furs, the diamonds, the painting on the wall"
hahaha
Actually, this song is from the viewpoint of a rich pompous who's trying to lour in some hot bimbo using his large amount of money, and material possessions.
"The claim is on you The sights are on me So what do you do That's guaranteed"
That pretty much explains it. So I think this song would be much better with the movie "Pretty Woman". Because the plot is very similar to the song's lyrics.

I love the intro to this song.
The "Little Girl" is Lady Liberty who is found on the US silver dollar. Through her the American Dream is sought, but along the way the US dollar has lost its value, so looks to the British pound to get there.
Ms. Liberty is looking at the Euro, European sources of money-like rock bands, as a means of bailing-out her people, but she is no longer trusted because she has stolen everything she can from her people. A prostitute is perceived to do anything for money.
I\'d heard this song before without giving it a lot of thought. Yesterday I happened to hear it while thinking about someone who really inspires me. The uplifting sound of the music fit that mood, but the cynical lyrics didn\'t. So now it gives me a feeling of dissonance.
This is one of my fav. AC/DC songs its just a great tune that you can really get into
Chicks who marry wealthy men for the money = Prostitutes.
