Well I wasn't "jocking", but I DID see the video a while ago while I was in a shoddy hotel room and was distracted, so I decided to watch it again. Much better than I remembered. I think because I was hardly paying attention the whole video just passed me by. You're right, the beats synchronized with the imagery is brilliant. |

I think it's just a cliché about how girls convey sex (a romance) and how guys convey it (a hook up type). Honestly I have a slight aversion to the lyrics, but I love the music, and the video is amazing. It's very reminiscent of a Sofia Coppola film, but I fucking love her work. Oh and it IS called Homecoming. |

WHYYYY is this song so good? And yes, it is Keen On Boys. Anyways, sounds like a gay theme going on. In the first verse, he sounds like he's ready to give up. Very hopeless and dubious. Such an infectious and addictive song... I'm obsessed. But the video is just a train or subway or whatever going by for the whole 6 minutes, if I remember correctly... Bit boring, although it did inspire me to listen to Star Guitar on the tube, and honestly, you have not experienced Star Guitar until you've listened to it on the tube/subway/metro/etc. |

This song just puts you in such a good mood. The chorus is just the most fun thing ever! I love it in Romeo & Juliet, they played it when Romeo was going to the Friar's, and they're scanning the city and they show the statue and whatnot. I fell in love with the song right then. Anyways, I think it's about just being in love, and little simple things are just so much more meaningful & fun. |

It's so weird, my friend pointed it out, she said "Don't you just think of Pooh eating his honey at the beginning of Look Up?" And I thought she was really weird, but then... Bent at the knee=begging. I don't think he was proposing. I think a girl was convicted of a crime and kind of begging them not to take her away. Maybe they wanted to give her the death penalty?( jury and judge were screaming to hang) And "increasing pixels and sound"... Maybe he was watching her on TV? WHO REALLY KNOWS :) |
