| Coheed and Cambria – Welcome Home Lyrics | 18 years ago |

small correction.. doubt it will get noticed on the seventh damn page, but "You seem to make premise to all of these songs" should say "You seem to take premise to all of these songs" anyway, awesome song |

| Adema – All These Years Lyrics | 18 years ago |
| I have to apologize- upon listening to the song again more carefully, I realized that it should read "riddles and rhymes" as opposed to "little thin rhymes"... I even made a typo before. Geez.. | |
| Adema – All These Years Lyrics | 18 years ago |
|
First off, "let's" in the first and last stanzas should be simply "lets" because "let's" is a contraction of "let us", which obviously makes no sense there. Secondly, in the second to last stanza, the lyrics say "I can't decide for all these little rhymes". The correct lyrics are "I can't decipher all these little rhymes". That one's kind of a no-brainer. All in all, the song sounds great. I doubt they're describing any group in particular. |

| Adema – Blame Me Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
the lyrics above are off. i'll put the correct lyrics below. I'm always gonna be one life behind It's why I'm all alone What's it gonna take to make you see That we are falling apart? I wondered can we throw away the past So we can stop the screaming match? I'm not gonna break down anymore I've found my way to the door I can see through both of us It's an issue of our trust It's killing me It's killing me to watch you leave me Leave me (x2): I tried to talk about what's really wrong I see that look of discontent The volume starts to rise and then it's on That's why I have to go Dealing with the pain is all that's left Because we cannot get along You want to put the blame on me again I think that we have breached the end I can see through both of us It's an issue of our trust It's killing me It's killing me to watch you leave I can see through both of us It's an issue of our trust You keep blaming me Blaming me for what you do to me It's your turn to Watch me leave you It's your turn to Watch me leave you It's your turn to Watch me leave you I can see through both of us It's an issue of our trust It's killing me It's killing me to watch you leave I can see through both of us It's an issue of our trust You keep blaming me Blaming me for what you do to me yes, obviously about a relationship, as a lot of adema songs are. i don't see how "both of us" sounds like "all the loss" but w/e. enjoy the more accurate lyrics. |

| Saliva – Rest In Pieces Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| explaining this song's meaning is only an insult to everybody's intelligence. wait, nevermind. i would never guessed that it was about a relationship ending tragically for the singer. | |
| Smile Empty Soul – This Is War Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
the line: "i go to church and tithe" that means he goes to church and donates one tenth of his income to the church. |

| Led Zeppelin – Stairway to Heaven Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
"I heard this song was written in like 10 minutes or something like that which would mean that the subliminal messages would have been impossible to plan." Not a very convincing argument, insanelysane. I tried playing it backwards, and it seems pretty suspicious to me. |

| Jimmy Eat World – Drugs Or Me Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| It doesn't necessarily have anything to do with a certain kind of drug. I have a friend whose boyfriend smokes weed a lot and she tells me sometimes that it hurts the relationship because he's so distant and detached and everything, so I think the song could be applied to that situation. Nothing to do with anti depressants. | |
| HIM – Wings of a Butterfly Lyrics | 20 years ago |
| I think that the whole part about ripping out the wings of a butterfly is asking the audience to do something terrible, to destroy something beautiful, just to show that they love him. It kind of reminds me of the message of the movie "Mystic River" showing that a man would even kill one of his best friends to show his love for his daughter and avenge her. That's just what i think though. | |
| Bad Religion – Shattered Faith Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
I think that BR is trying to tell us that there is no god and there is no legitimate reason to believe in a god. But I won't run in place (Are we blind?) in the human rat race (There's no way) I can set the pace (What we have) and accept my fate (Is shattered faith) Shattered faith (Here and now) Shattered faith (No reward) I think the above lyrics are BR looking down pitifully on all the people who make religion such a huge part of their lives, and they're wasting their time, effort, and money on something that doesn't even exist. Eternal life, eternal truth, eternal secrets Isolated hopes and hypotheses just Leave me feeling so hungry I think in those lyrics BR is saying that churches and theists try to sell you all this shit about eternal life and all of the mysteries and all the things that religion supposedly explains, and it leaves them feeling so hungry for the truth instead of the garbage that they're fed by theologians. I had a dream, light and carefree But now there's doubt and gravity I think that this bit says that they once believed in god, maybe when they were really young or something, but they sort of drifted from it because it does not make sense, "but now there's doubt and gravity." I think that also says that it's so much easier to live life believing in god and having the security of living forever, instead of having to understand that you'll simply cease to exist when you die, or whatever the case may be. Life is much easier when god is looking out for you. Shattered faith. |

| Bad Religion – Sorrow Lyrics | 20 years ago |
|
I'm not sure why some theists are so into this band, aside from the fact that the music itself is half the beauty of the song. I think the lyrics send the message that we create all the sorrow, and that there's not going to be anyone to save us and we have to clean up this crap. Or when the only true messiah rescues us from ourselves It's easy to imagine... There will be Sorrow Yeah there will be Sorrow And there will be Sorrow, no more I guess i really wouldn't know, but the way i interpret the above passage is that it's easy to look to some god to fix everything and make everything okay, but that will never happen. so until we realize that and quit being lustful and selfish people, we aren't going to get anywhere. |
