me south african too .. wot are the chances .. jus read the link zolziski gave ... http://news.iafrica.com/sa/1088601.htm ... and im outraged and its biasedness.. its one that accuses the boy to be insanely evil .. and an avid listener to evil music.. it blames it on music ... even to go as far as to say .. that their first album was mate feed kill repeat ... latently insisting that .. that was what the boy was doin .... im rather impressed by this link .. cos the report is more open minded.. and believeable http://www.dispatch.co.za/article.aspx?id=238453 .... but besides.. ive always been fascinated .. not in a bad way ... but in a psychological way .. at high school shoot outs/violence .. columbine .. being the centre... they seem to have one simliar thing in common .. including the latest one in the US hosted by the Korean guy .. if im not mistaken.. they ALL have one thing in common ... the kid is quiet .. and he's looked down by a certain group ... same goes for the articles ive just read ... humans are fragile .its a normal psychological response.. not that i justify it ... for example wit the korean guy .. i was glad that he had launched a video .. to say out what he wanted to say .. than people describing what happened .. and makin the perpetrators look satanic.. in columbine ...people reported teh situation .. sayin the boys were evil .. marylin rammstein adn teh game doom were blamed ... but in the korean guy thingy ...he made the statements and the tapes.. so they couldnt blame it on evil music or whatever ... when someoen is being laughed at .. or whatever.. called mad .. its a human thing to blow out ... or jus get mentally ill ... the end is disgustingly awful ... but the things that lead to it ..suck ... other humans can take in the damage inflicted by their peers .. while others dont .. its human to be diverse in genetics .. but however... its a cheap silly though to blame music .. and people should be open minded.. slipknot are .. as someone quoted ... musical geniuses... its to easy to point out to something and classify it as evil .. but for a band to work hard .. and come up with a strong identity .. is rather impressive... if you disagree.. try cloning joeys drumming solos or coreys vocals ... its what they do for a living .. and they express it in a harsh way ... its just music ... when some hear britney they like it .. when some hear it they hate it ... if the person takes it in a bad way ...who's to blame ? |

i think i understand .. people dont believe the same things ... i wonder how that is possible ... its weird.. if you all see fire ...1 out of a million will run towards it .. but the music industry targets.. the majority thats the only way they can survive in the corporate world. .. some people like micheal jackson .. others like Ed Gein .. others like Britney .. some hate em ... and their financial stregnth kinda points out the groupies backin em up ... others are fans of serial killers , others are patriots .. shivers.. humans are weird... they all have a belief to support what they support... i wonder what it would be like if we all saw the same blue and the same red... its complex psychological deduction ... when one sees red ... one remembers a rose which is a symbol of love between her lover...red becomes the persons favourite colour - when the guy in iraq sees red .. its the colour of the blood that covered his family .. and thus its not his favourite colour .. others reconcile with their hatred .. and love the colour and use it as a fuel for aggression ... some people may have abusive parents ...and when soulja boy creank that was on ... the parents were fighting .. so the song reminds them of bad memories .. and thus they hate it .. so they show up on their pc screens to pursue on their hatred... some are trying to make a band ... and are about to release their debut material ..but just as they did .. soulja boy stole their "thunder" .. got the masses attention .. so it was not a good time for them to debut .. and thus they hate the song .. they show up on their pc screens and find excuses to hate it .. be it lyrics or whatever ... This song gives you the idea of a city owned by the rich, but seen through the eyes of the poor. The rich "own the world(which is quite disorderly)," as stated in the chorus. The 1st and 2nd verses give you the idea of a poorer family, "eating seeds as a pastime activity."
It also makes you think of how polluted our planet has become, hence the title: "Toxicity."

I just saw the vid for the song ... :-( ...why did he change his appearance.. the hair was all WRONG.. everything -- the song is good... but .. PLEEEEEEEEEEZ DONT YOUR APPEARANCE -- LD-50 was a supernatural encounter, Mudvayne's look and style was just aMaZin .. but I'll always mudvayne -- they are deeep roooted within my circuits and design... just dont want them to change their appeal -- it makes them look a little worldly... i most liked the guitarist witht the fiendish looks, Kud with the overalls and twisted face ( see death blooms + nothing to gein) and severed was just an exceptional song of their trend... it would just be a real bummer if they were to change and be compromising.... I like the album -- "Fall into sleep " being a real rocker -- I just dont want them to change into a compromising metal group -- cos I just have this nightmare of them slowly turning to blink82 AHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!! --- shivers!!! the thought of it makes me INSane -- mudvayne is battling on my list for the first position with slipknot on my list -- 2nd being disturbed... and so on ..
