Violence Fetish Lyrics
Bring the violence
It's significant
To the life
If you've ever known anyone
Bring the violence
It's significant
To the life
Can you feel it?
How do you sleep
When you live with your lies
Out of your mouth
Up from your mind
That kind of thinking
Starts a chain reaction
You are a timebomb ticking away
You need to release
What you're feeling inside
Let out the beast
That you're trying to hide
Step right up and be a part of the action
Get your game face on
Because it's time to play
You're pushing and fighting your way
You're ripping it up
How do you live without playing the game
Sit on the side and expect to keep sane
Step right up and be a part of the action
Come get a piece of it before it's too late
Take a look around
You can't deny what you see
Were living in a violent society
Well my brother let me show you a better way
So get your game face on because it's time to play
You're pushing and fighting your way you're ripping it up
Bring the violence
It's significant
To the life
If you've ever known anyone
Bring the violence
It's significant
To the life
Can you feel it?
Bring the violence
It's significant
To the life
If you've ever known anyone
Bring the violence
It's significant
To the life
Can you feel it?
So tell me what am I supposed to be
Another goddamn drone
Tell me what am I supposed to be
Should I leave it on the inside
Should I get ready to play
It's significant
To the life
If you've ever known anyone

The songs about how you shouldn't just except things for the way they are. You shouldn't just sit out and not put your two sense in.
When you live life you should express your feelings, even if they are violent. If someone pists your off, tell them. You shouldn't be what everyone else wants you to be,
I am a peace-loving person, but I identify with this song because I used to be so full of rage. I used to get in a lot of trouble at home for punching holes in the wall. It is important to let your rage go. If you hold onto it, it bottles up inside and makes you crazy.
this song kicks ass
disturbed are my anger band. i only listen to them when i'm really pissed off. which is quite a lot...
You're just like me.. I like this band for a few song's that I listen to when I'm pissed off.

Trivia: The phrase "violence fetish" is not said during th song.
Ok Maybe Im just miss hearing it, or maybe its Dave's distortion towards the end, I could swear he says Jew not drone. Im probably wrong, but still considering the general perception of orthodox Jews in our society I feel it could be about his lifestyle/heritage. I dunno. Prove me wrong, itll probably make me feel better
@synth_shadow I also hear Jew and not drone

it's about just living life. Going for everything. Not sitting back and let everyone get their slice of life. And to just show your feelings, not keep them inside. 'Bring the violence, it's significant' , you'll be worse off if you just keep everything inside.
Yes, this is an amazing song. Also, just to let you know it is jew not drone and it has nothin to do with ZOG. If you did any research you'd know that David Draiman is jewsh and his parents are very into their culture and he was raised very strongly conventional jewish.
First of all, the kid who said that violence fetish isnt mentioned in the song, welcome to the world of MUSIC
secondly, you all kinda got it down. Its about the effects of the world on the people that inhabit it, and the effects of the people on the world. Whether or not someone was jewish is completely up in the air.
i think this song is saying that we're living in a violent world, and its pretty damn hard NOT to live without getting involved in it in one way or another.
whether you're beating your wife, fighting to survive on the streets, or watching and hearing about it all on the news, everyone is affected by the violence somehow.
also, the title and the chorus tell that the violence is NEEDED, either because its now considered 'normal' or because its what people want to hear about (look at tool's song 'vicarious' for the same view).
