I don't understand all of the chorus though.. I have no idea who William Tell is, but he shot the character from hell. |

Oh I'm not sure about it making fun of LP, I don't see where that fits.
Anyways. "Diabolical" means, "Showing the cunning or ingenuity or wickedness typical of a devil" which explains why Ville is in it, his material is usually about Love/Death and with some "evil" influence, therefore we'll go with the definition "wickedness typical of a devil" So Ville sings "Heaven may be running on empty yet the devil rides
Hell burns by angel turns her pillow to the cooler side" and then sings "Something diabolical" shortly after, so he's obviously saying that what he just stated is something "evil" or "wicked" There's alot of lyrics in the song and it's hard to figure out exactly what the songs about..ehh, I think I just pointed out the obvious so I'll just end here but that's pretty much all I have. |

They did a good job in my opinion, and I hope you arn't just saying that so you'll sound like a die hard Black Sabbath fan, because there's nothing wrong with the Cardigans covering Black Sabbath. lol, Diet Punk Rock HIM is soooo repetative, but there's nothing wrong with that. Ville obviously likes to sing about love and there's only so much you can have to say about love in a song, therefore his music appears to be repetative. When really it's just all on the same topic and I can understand if people don't like that, and if you don't good for you, stay away from HIM's music and leave fans alone. Ville's comparison to 666 and love is very interesting and I think that's one of the best things in his lyrics so there's more to it if you look into it. |

Glenn's voice is amazing, but saying that Michale Graves has only made 1-2 good songs is not giving him the credit he deserves. Glenn was better, Glenn will always be better, but Michale made an amazing album, and that is American Psycho...Pretty much anything on the album is amazing, unfourtanetly Jerry's voice on Project 1950 is pathetic, IMO. |

Actually, if you want to get all technical... Jerry originally called it "The Wave" but Glenns mother came up with the name "Devilock" and they though that was more sinister and stuck. And therefore you have this song Devilock. I couldn't possible tell you what the song means for sure though, it obviously as something to do with hell and then devil as are typical Misfit songs... |

I was kinda dissapointed by this album, don't get me wrong this album is AMAZING but the first song I heard from it was The Leaving Song, Pt. 2 . I was blown away I hadn't heard such a good in a long time. And so I went and got the album and checked it out...I LOVED it but was expecting something a bit differant, I was expecting the same creepy dark feeling as when I heard Leaving Song, Pt. 2 when I heard the rest of the album...it seems they changed their sound for this one song...Well anyways I'm a knew fan and AFI is slowly becoming one of my favorite bands. Their songs have so much depth and meaning. It's just a great album. And I would like to listen to some of their older albums sometime....anyway...lol I have no idea what this song is about, but I had to say what was said. Later, Peace |
