Matt Bellamy is a devoted athiest. The song is about God and how people still believe in God even after all terrible things happen in the world.It just seems mixed up as its written in different perspectives. The first verse is written in Matt's perspective. |

I heard this song has lots and lots and LOTS of sexual innuendo in it. Especially the 2nd verse.
On the other hand. If you didn't know, most of the Showbiz album is about how Teignmouth, their home town, did little to support them.
In fact, i remember a newspaper article where there was a photo of the mayor of Teignmouth putting a copy of Showbiz in the dustbin.
Most of the songs are of how noone believed in them. Just listen to the lyrics on Showbiz. |

Matt Bellamy writes many bullshit songs. I mean that in a nice way-honest. I actually mean he writes songs that have a meaning but he makes them sound like another meaning. He completely mixes up how the song is supposed to be translated as. |
