Zao – The Last Song From Zion Lyrics 21 years ago
this song switches back and forth, from the "narrator", to god himself.
god starts speaking with the line "thy will of man", and ends at "this is what your black hearts pray", and continues again with the chorus.

the last three lines, are just putting a title to the song, ending it with exactly what is happening.

Zao – Truly, Truly, This Is The End Lyrics 21 years ago
i think that what the first part is saying, is that there is a man, talking from within the city of the dead, saying that they've been taught that death is another part of life, and that your dead spirit lives alongside your living one.
i think this man along with others are trying in vain to worship a new god, but their words "fall and decay". upon realizing this, they realize that their attempts are futile, and that this really is the end of all the things that were good and pure.

agreeing with keyman and mofn_nine.
no miracles, no blood of jesus to cleanse us. the sins we make stay with us forever.

its as if the more they are apart from god, the tiny lamp light in their hearts, slowly flickers and dies.

Zao – Praise the War Machine Lyrics 21 years ago
i agree with keyman on this one. its the new world order that has come into play. it's all decay and destruction, until the new world is reforged by the men of this world.

Underoath – It's Dangerous Business Walking Out Your Front Door Lyrics 21 years ago
the song, i think, is talking about a guy, at a funeral, looking back on what he lost. maybe he survived a car crash, and she didn't, or maybe its the other way around. anyways, i think he's dwelling on the thoughts heavily, and maybe the flames are the ones that the car created when it exploded, and they're burying her in the exact same place.
