ummm, bert and gerard were never in prison together! and even though gerard did have a girlfriend he still had random makeout sessios with Bert. Bert says that gerard wrote the song about them making out... and i think a lot of people have the right idea with this song. about how he killed the people and he is saying that he can't go to prison cuz this is what will happen |

When I went to The Used concert on Devil's night Bert said "If you have any of your friends near you I want you to hug them and hold onto them", then in an interview i read with him he said that it is about when he and Quinn weren't getting along. This leads me to believe that it is about friendship and how some people don't go well together at first but after a while they can become best friends |

The Emo Me, In Take it away he is talking about being an insomniac and hating the light. I watched the making of the video on Fuse tha other night and he explained the whole thing. It is about touring and writing songs at night because they couldn't get to sleep and how Bert and Quinn used to go into town at night WHEN IT WAS DARK to get pop and stuff |

I saw their show on Devil's night in Detroit and he opened this song by saying "This is for anyone that has ever felt alone in their life". The first time I listened to this song I was flipping through the cd booklet and I saw the thing about Kate and that is what i thought it was about but then I heard of his puppy David Bowie. I think this song is about him losing both of them because he lost them both around the same time, losing 2 of his best friends that close to the same time had to be really hard.
