This song is amazing. It totally reminds me of GnR. Although this is good I dont think it beats out IWSYT Pt.1. Syns solos are great too. Overall a great song. |

Yea mo money got it right. Right before "Sounding the Seventh Trumpet" was released A7X's former bassist Justin Sane (not the Anit-Flag singer) attempted suicide by drinking bottles of cough syrup. This song is M Shadows's response to Justin's suicide note. Even thoughtJustin didnt die he fried his brain almost completely. Justin is the one playing bass on STST but they replaced him with Dameon Ash and not too long after that they replaced Dameon with Johnny Christ.
This is one of my favorite songs by Avenged. Its all amazing. |

I think its about war. But meddlehead40 does have a great point. Avenged do very often get ideas and such from biblical and religious topics. |

I think this song is about drugs. In the lines "for awhile i was cleaner than now then i started to destroy myself" He was free of drugs for a while but then he started using them again. He started to destroy himself. I dont know thats just my opinion. |

This song has so much emotion and anger. I love it. It is definitely the best on their cd. I dont think an 8th grader couldve wrote this song either. My favorite part of the song is the last 2 verses.

I didn't mean you. I just meant that people are still debating over the lyrics. I guess it didn't help that they didn't include the lyrics in the booklet, though. My friend and I were just throwing ideas around and her mom popped in with that one.
It's really tough though because I agree with what lyrical avenger said about Bert's pronunciation when he sings. But it is interesting to see what everyone thinks he's saying. The line about cancer is the one that always gets me. |
