i dont know dude... sometimes it seems like i've been constantly busy and doing something with someone and going somewhere for some reason. it sometimes feels like i've been running around for a million years and then if i do something more laid back and chill its soo nice. even if its with a few people. in his case, hes alone. to me just seems like its nice to be alone for a night. like..just chillin. outside. instead of being around a bunch of people and tons of crazy shit going on all the time. just one night where you're by yourself and able to just chill and not be on the go. hes not doing things for the feeling he gets out of it (that could be sex, drugs, or whatever) |

i really dont know...but theres that play thing called JB...its about the book of job in the bible. and im not all religious or whatever but... in the book of job god and the devil make a bet kinda. the devil says that all these people worship god but thats because they have everything they want and need - take that shit away and people will stop having faith and will curse god. god says that they can test job - a dude whos really faithful. so they test job by doing all these horrible things to him, they kill his kids off in horrible ways, his wife leaves him, they send disease to him and he begs for death but they wont let him die. in the end he never really curses god - he asks why are you doing this to me? god asks something like 'where were you when i created everything' - basically saying that job (and humans in general) has such a small understanding of the universe and everything. in the end god gives job back his health and his wife comes back. so now that i sound like some total religious freak...i'll finish off by saying i guess it COULD make sense...but again i have no idea. just an idea |

hahaha the same thing happened to me. i first heard this late at night like alone in a huge friggin dark house and i was falling asleep. holy fack dood. being almost asleep and then THAT. but i notice that nobody has been discussing the MEANING behind this song...i think its got a good message. you cant just assume that everything is a joke. you cant just ASSUME that you are safe! be aware of things. another good point, people get high. its a proven fact. we cant live in the dark and nfg wants us to know this. furthermore, shiskabobs are good. toothpicks are handy. i prefer dental floss though... to me its two people - who might not have even been together (probably were though) but the singer really liked the girl but they arent together now or theyre very very close to being over. the singer is realizing this now and even though he likes her, he knows its not gonna work and he doesnt see the point in trying anymore and that hurts him (even if i wanted to i dont think that i'd get to you theres nothing i can say to u to make u feel alive again) And the girl doesnt care and pretends to try but makes it obvious shes just pretending (I know you're faking it but that's okay) and it hurts him because inside he really does love her. and maybe he wants her to feel a little burn when she thinks of him.
