Verse 1
If you can keep your head when it falls off
And pee in a cup at the doctor's office
Then Barney and Big Bird songs will make you sing

If you believe Travis will marry an ex-nun
Then the world is already done

If the end times come at the beginning
And if the Backstreet Boys and Spice Girls come back again
If Justin Timberlake plays golf with Bill Clinton
Then Carmen might lick the floor

Chorus:
If Harry Potter hates pottery
And Bugs Bunny is allergic to carrots
If Miss Cleo gets out of jail, and dies
She'll go to hell
If the band teacher melts the tuba
If you are tired of all these ifs
If...if you

Verse 2
If you can hang out with gays and still be straight
Or be around sluts, yet still be modest
If Britney Spears is your friend, then let a hobo be your best friend
If you claim to be a virgin but still mess around
If you say you're not a pothead but cocaine's your still
And if you eat veggies but support slaughtering of cows
Then you will be in a mental house as a man, my daughter

Repeat Chorus

Verse 3
If that ex-nun marries an ex-priest
If beauty dumps the beast
If Carmen decides to forget Brent
And if Mr. Pres forgets to pay his rent
If we decide, we will go!
Repeat Chorus 2x
~END~

it's just a silly song that came to me one day when we were reciting a poem by some guy.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"
