Our generation sees the world
Not the same as before
We might as well just throw it all
And live like there's no tomorrow

Ooh, there's no tomorrow
Ooh, there's no tomorrow

We are the ones who are living
Under the gun every day
You might be gone before you know
So live like there's no tomorrow

(Ain't gonna waste this life) there's no tomorrow
(I'm gonna live it for me) there's no tomorrow
(Ain't gonna waste this life) there's no tomorrow
(I'm gonna live it for me)

Hey, believe it
Official view of the world has changed
A whole new way
Live fast 'cause if you don't take it
You'll never make it

So if you understand me
And if you feel the same
Then you will know what nitro means
You'll live like there's no tomorrow

(Ain't gonna waste this life) there's no tomorrow
(I'm gonna live it for me) there's no tomorrow
(Ain't gonna waste this life) there's no tomorrow
(I'm gonna live it for me) there's no tomorrow

This is one of my favorite songs from them... Ah, Smash rocks. But shut it with the selling out crap. Any band would get old if they didn't change. On top of that, Punk being used to label music is sad. Punk means expression and being who you are or want to be.

Anyways, this song is my anthem. One of my friends recently died in their sleep of a heart condition that nobody knew about... Till after he died. Real young, and a nice guy, too. Death creeps up to anybody at any time. Therefore we need to live life to the fullest while we have it. After all, we each owe a death. Till that... Live life to the fullest. :)

i'm so sick of fuckers writing about sellouts in here. if people don't like a fuckin band, then they shouldnt comment on their songs. people think songs like pretty fly and hit that, with their satarized lyrics are "sellout songs" yet their sarcastic views are no different than that of come out and play or bad habit. anyway, nitro is an awesome song w/ a great beat. the song has a sweet message- you don't know what the future holds, so live life to the fullest.

im guessing this song has something to do with nitro records (one of the best record companys ever along with fat wreck chords, hellcat, epitaph, psychopathic, kung fu and well like 3 more i cant think of rite now) considering the fact they use to be a big nitro band along with afi and vandals (WHY DID OFFSPRING HAVE TO SELL OUT THEY USE TO BE SO MUCH BETTER... oh well at least they are still ok... not gonna sing about cutting peoples heads of nemore... beheaded was their best song....)

Pretty Fly (For A White Guy) was only more popular because all of the teeny-boppers liked the song. Why? Because radio stations overplayed and overpraised the song. Believe me, it's just not that good.

    Nitro on the other hand...:D

hmm...i guess this song could be about anarchy, but i think its about living your life the way you want to live it and not letting other people get in your way.

excuse me, NOFXJuggaloGirgo, what are you talking about? Offspring were never on nitro, nitro was founded after they got popular. the label was named after the song, not the other way around.

The Night We Met
Lord Huron
This is a hauntingly beautiful song about introspection, specifically about looking back at a relationship that started bad and ended so poorly, that the narrator wants to go back to the very beginning and tell himself to not even travel down that road. I believe that the relationship started poorly because of the lines: "Take me back to the night we met:When the night was full of terrors: And your eyes were filled with tears: When you had not touched me yet" So, the first night was not a great start, but the narrator pursued the relationship and eventually both overcame the rough start to fall in love with each other: "I had all and then most of you" Like many relationships that turn sour, it was not a quick decline, but a gradual one where the narrator and their partner fall out of love and gradually grow apart "Some and now none of you" Losing someone who was once everything in your world, who you could confide in, tell your secrets to, share all the most intimate parts of your life, to being strangers with that person is probably one of the most painful experiences a person can go through. So Painful, the narrator wants to go back in time and tell himself to not even pursue the relationship. This was the perfect song for "13 Reasons Why"

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
