Nothin' goes as planned.
Everything will break.
People say goodbye.
In their own special way.
All that you rely on
And all that you can fake
Will leave you in the morning
But find you in the day

Oh you're in my veins
And I cannot get you out
Oh you're all I taste
At night inside of my mouth
Oh you run away
Cause I am not what you found
Oh you're in my veins
And I cannot get you out.

Everything will change.
Nothin' stays the same.
And nobody here's perfect.
Oh but everyones to blame.
All that you rely on
And all that you can save
Will leave you in the morning
And find you in the day

Oh you're in my veins
And I cannot get you out
Oh you're all I taste
At night inside of my mouth
Oh you run away
Cause I am not what you found
Oh you're in my veins
And I cannot get you out.
No I cannot get you out.
No I cannot get you.

Everything is dark.
It's more than you can take.
But you catch a glimpse of sun light.
Shinin', Shinin' down on your face.

Oh you're in my veins
And I cannot get you out
Oh you're all I taste
At night inside of my mouth.
Oh you run away
Cause I am not what you found
Oh you're in my veins
And I cannot get you out.
No, I cannot get you out.
No, I cannot get you out.
Oh no, I cannot get you.

I think what he's trying to get across is that people are unexplainable with their actions at times, and most will disappoint, and that this lover is no exception. The only problem is that he can't get over them.

    My Interpretation

The way I see it, this song is about a break-up and getting over that person. Something happened "Nothin' goes as planned/everything will break", things went wrong and everything changed between them "Everything will change/nothing stays the same". The other person left "people say goodbye/in their own special way" and now this person is trying to move on and heal from the pain that the break-up caused and it takes time. "All that you rely on And all that you can fake Will leave you in the morning But find you in the day" At first, you don't even know where to begin, but as the day goes by you manage to find a way to survive and keep moving and put on a smile for the world, you find something that keeps you afloat long enough to make it on your own and by the end of the day you see that you made it. But by the next day everything you had the day before that kept you afloat is gone so you go through the process again. Oh you're in my veins "And I cannot get you out Oh you're all I taste At night inside of my mouth Oh you run away Cause I am not what you found Oh you're in my veins And I cannot get you out." That's pretty self explanatory. The person can't get over the other person. The feelings are strong and it's hard to get over them. "And nobody here's perfect Oh but everyone's to blame" Everyone makes mistakes because that's our nature so everyone's going to have some share of the blame. "Everything is dark. It's more than you can take. But you catch a glimpse of sun light. Shinin', Shinin' down on your face." The pain is overwhelming and you can't handle it but there's hope. Someone or something is out there ready to help you through it all.

That's just how I see it. I went through something like this so I can relate to it but I love the song anyway. :) I heard it in two TV shows: first, The Vampire Diaries, and second, Castle.

Beautiful song. I guess it's about trying to forget someone, but not succeeding in it.

    My Interpretation

I think the song is about a girl basically searching for someone to make her feel better about herself.

"All that you rely on/And all that you can fake/Will leave you in the morning/But find you in the day" I think this refers to the fact that she is trying to fill the gap inside by finding someone, but when she wakes up in the morning next to someone new, she is still empty.

The section about "Oh you're all I taste/At night inside of my mouth/Oh you run away/Cause I am not what you found" indicates that he had a relationship with her, but she eventually left him, because he wasn't what she needed. He's still pining for her.

The lyric about "People say goodbye/In their own special way" may indicate that she didn't really give him a proper goodbye, that she just left. Also, the fact that he describes it as running away.

The section where he says that "Everything is dark./It's more than you can take./But you catch a glimpse of sun light./Shinin', Shinin' down on your face." makes me picture her as a girl who's kind of messed up, but he's hoping she'll be able to get past it one day.

I've come to find I have a soft spot for songs with lyrics about someone being in your veins. But this song is above and beyond. I don't think this one needs too much interpretation, it's stated pretty clearly in the chorus what it's about. I just love these lyrics: "All that you rely on And all that you can fake Will leave you in the morning But find you in the day"

    It will always find you.

I think this song means people will give you hurt, and always. But, in the end, sometimes or maybe always/usually we couldn't ripped those people who hurt us so badly from our life because they also our the most important person in our life. Also the most you love in the world. The one that you can't even let them go away from you. So, you keep lying to yourself, also to them. Pretending that you forgive but you won't forget about what all they have done to you. You're not will be the same the way you first time met them.

Sad. But people just like that. Memories keep stuck too. Life sucks.

    My Interpretation

I think this is about like someone's life- cause it describes mine. "Nothin' goes as planned. Everything will break. People say goodbye. In their own special way." Is about losing someone, maybe a friend or having someone you loved die. "All that you rely on And all that you can fake Will leave you in the morning But find you in the day" It's pretending everything's okay when really your whole world is crashing down onto you.

The chorus says that through all this there's this one person who will always be there and you love them for that. They're in your veins.

"Everything will change. Nothin' stays the same. And nobody here's perfect. Oh but everyones to blame." This is like watching everything around you change someway, everyday somethings different. And everyone in your world makes it change and has the blame for something- whether good or bad- in your world.

"Everything is dark. It's more than you can take. But you catch a glimpse of sun light. Shinin', Shinin' down on your face." This part is when you are in a low area again, where everything's wrong, but you find this one person and they're your light in a world of darkness.

this always makes me think of my mom, especially the "i cannot get you out" part because i've always struggled with the things i've internalized from her and never wanted.. Even the part you're all i taste in my mouth at night, because my mom had a salivary autoimmune disorder which means our mouths taste/feel/smell the same, she passed away recently, and i'm having a hard time dealing with it all. I do think she ran away cuz she so desperately wanted to have a child and she found me, i disappointed her at every corner, every aspiration she had for me just completely shattered by my short comings. I always struggled with relating to her but ever since she passed I've felt so close to her, i never thought i'd miss her when she was gone, but i guess "nothing stays the same". I never planned to feel all of this for her, my heart really is breaking, i still remember the way she turned away from me in the hospital so i wouldnt have to see her as she died but she never let go of my hand, we were too ashamed of what we'd done to each other throughout our short time of knowing each other to look at each other's faces, I really hope she can find some rest now, she truly deserves it.

I like this song, and have been listening to it over and over again for the past days. I think its about feeling somewhat doomed in a relationship, wanting to make it work - but at the same time knowing that it never will. You're trying to get past the lies and the suffering, but it finds you again later at day, always. And the person you love is there, in your thoughts, all the time - making it all hurt that much more.

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

There aren’t many things that’ll hurt more than giving love a chance against your better judgement only to have your heart crushed yet again. Ed Sheeran tells such a story on “Page.” On this track, he is devastated to have lost his lover and even more saddened by the feeling that he may never move on from this.
