<< Well when do you wanna talk about it? When do you wanna talk about? You get out!>>>

[ab rude]
Baby don't cry, dry ya eye
This is my house, you get out, Why I'm outside?
As the door closes
baby I don't wanna turn this into a War of the Roses
rock bottom to the lowest, I'm feeling hopeless
I hope you notice my prey-a-data stay focused
she don't know what broke is
I grew up in rough ass part of LA where no one wants to live
give us another chance to advance
"Sorry Abbie but I've got to find another man"
Damn! Can a Scorpio get stung?
Maybe I was young and dumb & full of cum
and hella sprung, Naw, never that
life is too short and you don't get it back, Roger that?
she hangin up, I'm callin back
later on we'll be makin' up in the sack

[hook]
She's always right, we fuss and break up
We argue, fight, and fuck to make up
If something seems wrong but she don't say what
and even if she strikes me first I can't touch
you gotta love it though we never get to the bottom of it
it's like dealing with a alcoholic
when we drunk off love we just can't call it
and when we smoked off bud then we both frolic
She's always right, we fuss and break up
We argue, fight, and fuck to make up...

[moka]
no baby, when it comes to- I just don't have the patience with it, I mean I got things to do...

I haven't fallen in love in a long time
Too busy ballin and callin the wrong line
Who is he foolin by doin that everytime?
The joke's on you, when Moke's on you, recline
I'm so much into me I can't be refined
When you touch me it really don't blow my mind
If you call me I ignore it half the time
My all for you? Forget it, it's asinine
I worry 'bout it going to something that ain't benign
Love is picture perfect but now ain't the time
There you blame it on the mammal or you blame it on the sign
And the thing at the end of my tail that prevails
The stings just a part of male genitale'
And it fails to really keep the wind from my sails
Even a perfect 10 will end and get stale
I'm the mystery with bad history up for sale
her misery, no more kissin me, fuck the deal
yeah I feel bad, but bitches suck f'real
(are you serious?) naw, I guess I'm just stuck with zil'
til I fall off my high horse with a buzz ta kill

[HOOK]
She's always right, we fuss and break up
We argue, fight, and fuck to make up
And something seems wrong but she don't say what
and even if she strikes me first I can't touch
you gotta love it though we never get to the bottom of it
it's like dealing with a alcoholic
when we're drunk off love we just can't call it
and when we smoked off bud then we both frolic...
She's always right, we fuss and break up
We argue, fight, and fuck to make up

(girl): Oh, I wish I could stay mad at you.

[verse 3]
Prevail:
The hardest part of this isn't the arguments in front of the apartment with the entire neighborhood as an audience
ignorance makes us both look like idiots
and I can't live with this (so?) so let's figure it out
before I'm back diggin it out tomorrow night
cause ain't no sunlight when we fight
with those thin little rays between love and spite
advantage, when you take it of me and say you love me
it's slanted, I think you got some problems with honesty
that harm my little shining beacon of monogamy
I you cheat, we both feel the heat
In love there's no surrender so I run for retreat

[original 3rd verse]
the sex good, I'm a November
born apart of the body, you'll surrender
we need more communication
should we take a vacation for this special occasion
we need more enthusiasm
we're more than just when we both having orgasms
maybe we shoulda saw some counseling
but then we both decided we were bouncing
tick-tock, we're like clockwork if you counting
one whole week goes by, we back lounging
all day & night & watch movies
touch & caress, I'm blessed by her beauty
[hook]

Standing On The Edge Of Summer
Thursday
In regards to the meaning of this song: Before a live performance on the EP Five Stories Falling, Geoff states “It’s about the last time I went to visit my grandmother in Columbus, and I saw that she was dying and it was the last time I was going to see her. It is about realizing how young you are, but how quickly you can go.” That’s the thing about Geoff and his sublime poetry, you think it’s about one thing, but really it’s about something entirely different. But the lyrics are still universal and omnipresent, ubiquitous, even. So relatable. That’s one thing I love about this band. I also love their live performances, raw energy and Geoff’s beautiful, imperfectly perfect vocals. His voice soothes my aching soul.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."
