We're not so different you and me,
'Cause we both share our share of obscenities,
And everybody's got some freaky tendencies,
Hidden or admitted, 'cause we all got needs,

And I make no apologies, (uh uh)
I'm into phonography, (uh uh)
And I like my bluetooth buttons comin' loose,
I need my hands free,
Then I let my mind roam,
Playing with my ring tone.

He got service, I got service,
Baby we can talk all night (go)

Let's talk about biology,
Make believe your next to me,
Phonography, phonography,
Talk that sexy talk to me,
Better make sure that the line is clean,
Keep it confidential, you and me.
Phonography, phonography,
Dirty talking, call it phonography (hey)

I can final all your commands,
But there will be no talk of adding you to my plans,
I'll keep you connected as long as you understand,
That's how we should keep it mister telephone man.

And I make no apologies, (uh uh)
I'm into phonography, (uh uh)
And I like my bluetooth buttons comin' loose,
I need my hands free,
Then I let my mind roam,
Playing with my ring tone.

He got service, I got service,
Baby we can talk all night (go)

Let's talk about biology,
Make believe your next to me,
Phonography, phonography,
Talk that sexy talk to me,
Better make sure that the line is clean,
Keep it confidential, you and me.
Phonography, phonography,
Dirty talking, call it phonography (hey)

Baby if you're not alone,
Take me on speakerphone,
What I'm 'bout to say right here,
Is just for your ears to hear,
If you need to hit me back, hit me back,
I got a *69,
(for that, for that)

(Go)

Let's talk about biology,
Make believe youre next to me,
Phonography, phonography,
Talk that sexy talk to me,
Better make sure that the line is clean,
Keep it confidential, you and me.
Phonography, phonography,
Dirty talking, call it phonography (hey)

I'm kind of obsessed with this song - it's so freakin' catchy. It's completely about phone sex, and makes me want to just dance all up on someone. Love it.

    Song Meaning

The song is obviously about phone sex, but it's also about the two people (Britney and the anonymous "Telephone Man") as well. Mainly about Britney, but... moving on.

"Phonography", as she calls it, is a personal pleasure for her. This song is solely about her want for lust and the excitement behind phone sex. That's it; she isn't in love. She might not even be friends with the guy, but one can only assume this based on her inconsideration for how he might be feeling about her not wanting him for anything more than phone sex. The lack of romantic or platonic love allows her to easily see him as no more than a sexual object. The man on the other line is there merely for her own entertainment. She's also open to him about that (there will be no talk of adding you to my plan. I'll keep you connected 'long as you understand, that's how we should keep it, Mister Telephone Man), because she doesn't want him to develop any sort of feelings for her. If he were to fall in love with her, the phone sex fantasy she's living would be destroyed.

    Hope this helps

Light Up The Sky
Van Halen
The song lyrics were written by the band Van Halen, as they were asked to write a song for the 1979 movie "Over the Edge" starring Matt Dillon. The movie (and the lyrics, although more obliquely) are about bored, rebellious youth with nothing better to do than get into trouble. If you see the movie, these lyrics will make more sense. It's a great movie if you grew up in the 70s/80s you'll definitely remember some of these characters from your own life. Fun fact, after writing the song, Van Halen decided not to let the movie use it.

Son Şansın - Şarkı Sözleri
Hayalperest
This song seemingly tackles the methods of deception those who manipulate others use to get victims to follow their demands, as well as diverting attention away from important issues. They'll also use it as a means to convince people to hate or kill others by pretending acts of terrorism were committed by the enemy when the acts themselves were done by the masters of control to promote discrimination and hate. It also reinforces the idea that these manipulative forces operate in various locations, infiltrating everyday life without detection, and propagate any and everywhere. In general, it highlights the danger of hidden agendas, manipulation, and distraction, serving as a critique of those who exploit chaos and confusion to control and gain power, depicting a cautionary tale against falling into their traps. It encourages us to question the narratives presented to us and remain vigilant against manipulation in various parts of society.

Cajun Girl
Little Feat
Overall about difficult moments of disappointment and vulnerability. Having hope and longing, while remaining optimistic for the future. Encourages the belief that with each new morning there is a chance for things to improve. The chorus offers a glimmer of optimism and a chance at a resolution and redemption in the future. Captures the rollercoaster of emotions of feeling lost while loving someone who is not there for you, feeling let down and abandoned while waiting for a lover. Lost with no direction, "Now I'm up in the air with the rain in my hair, Nowhere to go, I can go anywhere" The bridge shows signs of longing and a plea for companionship. The Lyrics express a desire for authentic connection and the importance of Loving someone just as they are. "Just in passing, I'm not asking. That you be anyone but you”
