We're running away
Further away 'cause
We won't take this
Losing my way
Knocked to the ground
I lie beside her

You know they're telling us
Nothing's ever gonna change
You know they're telling us
Nothing's ever gonna change

We're running away
Further away so
We might make it

Let's forget
Don't think about it
Let's forget
Let's forget
Don't think about it
We're fighting with ourselves but
Who's The Enemy?

Tear in the sky
Choking the world
That cries before us
It's time to decide
We can't here all
Sit alone in silence

You know they're telling us
Nothing's ever gonna change
You know they're telling us
Nothing's ever gonna change

We're running away
Further away so
We might make it

Let's forget
Don't think about it
Let's forget
Let's forget
Don't think about it

We're fighting with ourselves but
Who's The Enemy?
Who's The Enemy? (x9)

We're running away
Further away 'cause
We won't take this
Losing our way
Knocked to the ground
But we might make it

Let's forget
Don't think about it
Let's forget
Let's forget
Don't think about it

We're fighting with ourselves but
Who's The Enemy?

Let's forget

General CommentBesides Tracing Lines, I think this is the strongest track on Silent Cry. It really knocked me back when I first heard it - def. Feeder pushed to its limit.

General CommentYou got some of the lyrics wrong.

    "Tear in the sky
    Choking the world
    That cries before us
    It's time to decide
    We can't here all
    Sit alone in silence"

    Should be

    "Tearing the sky
    Choking the world
    That cries before us
    It's time to decide
    Be counter
    or sit alone in silence!"

But THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for solving the whole "Knocked to the ground, I Lie beside her" part. I thought it was saying "Naught to the ground" O_o but that doesnt make sense

General CommentWhen the track gets to 2:10, it really does get heavy heavy for Feeder. Interesting and a very strong track on the album. I reckon the song is about a relationship that is breaking down and they are constantly fighting about petty things. They are being told that they can't work through it and that nothing is going to change. They say that their tearing the sky and choking the world with their arguments. They need to decide whether to stay together or split up. But they can't decide who has caused their problems. Therefore they are asking questions of themselves and asking if it is there fault they have had problems. They can't decide whether they are the enemy or their partner is or if the people telling them to break up is.

My view anyway, anyone agree in the slightest?
