I don't need to be forgiven
I don't want your sympathy
It's a mad, mad world
But it's still turning

don't want to get too complicated
I get so dark that I can't sing
Yeah it's a mad, mad world
But I'm hoping

I'm waiting for the sun to shine
I'll wait until the day I die

I'm tired of living in the shadows
But I'm not giving up on me
It's a sad, sad world
But I'm still waiting

I can't worry about tomorrow
And what each new day's gonna bring
'cause every dark cloud
Has a silver lining

I'm waiting for the sun to shine
I'll wait until the day I die

I'm waiting for the sun to shine
(it's a mad, mad world, oh, I'm gonna live my life)
I'll wait until the day I die

ah ah ah ahhhh
Ah ah ah ahhhh
Ah ah ahhhh

ah ah ah ahhhh
Ah ah ah ahhhh
Ah ah ahhhh

I'm waiting for the sun shine
(it's a mad, mad world, oh, I'm gonna live my life)
I'll wait until the day I die (oh)

(oh)
I'm waiting for the sun to shine
(it's a mad, mad world, oh)
I'll wait until the day I die (die, I)

I love this song. It's one of my favourites off the new album. It's just so fitting to how I feel at times.

Holiday
Bee Gees
@[Diderik:33655] "Your a holiday!" Was a popular term used in the 50s/60s to compliment someone on their all around. For example, not only are they beautiful, but they are fun and kind too ... just an all around "holiday". I think your first comment is closer to being accurate. The singer/song writers state "Millions of eyes can see, yet why am i so blind!? When the someone else is me, its unkind its unkind". I believe hes referring to the girl toying with him and using him. He wants something deeper with her, thats why he allows himself to be as a puppet (even though for her fun and games) as long as it makes her happy. But he knows deep down that she doesnt really want to be serious with him and thats what makes him.
