You know when you feel it
You know when it hits you
There's no mistaking when you fall
You don't anticipate it
And you can't calculate it
It just comes crashing through your walls

I'll love you 'til the sky falls down
I'll love you 'til I can't feel anything,
Not anything at all
And even when you're not around
I'll love you 'til the sky falls down
I'm flying 'til I hit the ground
And lying there and I don't feel anything
Not anything at all
And even when you're not around
I'll love you til the sky falls down

You lose all sense of reason
You have no sense of danger
It's like you're living in a dream.
It lets you float through crowds and
Makes you smile at strangers
It's just the greatest state of being, Oohh...

I'll love you 'til the sky falls down
I'll love you 'til I can't feel anything,
Not anything at all
And even when you're not around
I'll love you 'til the sky falls down
I'm flying 'til I hit the ground
And lying there and I don't feel anything
Not anything at all
And even when you're not around
I'll love you til the sky falls down.

well hmm, a lot of my fellow e-poppers dedicate this song to their significant other...but yeh

well, i guess with the ecstasy perspective, i love you till the sky falls down, sky falls down = when the ecstasy trip is over??

    just a thought

Anyone who's ever done Ecstasy will tell you that this is clearly what this song is about.

The use of ecstasy is prevalent in the rave scene, where Oceanlab, aka Above & Beyon (without Justine, of course), find their base,

"You don't anticipate it You can calculate it It just comes crashing through your walls" refer to the explosiveness of ecstasy, as the full effects onset from baseline to full in about two minutes, an hour after ingestion.

"You lose all sense of reason You have no sense of danger It's like you're living in a dream. It lets you float through crowds and Makes you smile at strangers It's just the greatest state of being"

Refer to the actual state of mind and body high of being on ecstasy. Ecstasy is called the hug drug, it makes you want to smile, touch things, kiss and hug people, etc.

"I'll love you 'till the sky falls down I'll love you 'till I can't feel anything, Not anything at all"

I am not sure, but I think these lines refer to false feelings of emotion while on MDMA. MDMA users sometimes finding themselves falling head over heels in love with someone they've known for two minutes, causing unintended, sometimes innapropriate feelings.

    interesting perspective ^

i never thought it was to do with ecstasy, although i am a fan of oceanlab and i have been in that state of mind...but just cause it's a trance song doesn't mean it's about ecstasy...and oceanlab tends to have some pretty relationship-related lyrics i never thought too deep and just always thought this was about the feeling of being in love...you're blinded from it so you can't sense danger, you're in the state of bliss when you're in love you live in a dream, it makes life easier, so you float through clouds. love is the best feeling, so it's the greatest state of being. and that would answer the i'll love you till the sky falls down bit.

very sweet song, i would love to have a SO to sing this to, or have this song dedicated to me =p

When I first heard this song I thought - yeah this is about droppin E's. And everytime I listen to it I believe it even more. Cuz lines like "Makes you smile at strangers " or "It just comes crashing through your walls" describe the experience so accurately. I suppose I could reconcile the above two meanings by saying that being in love and Xtaticness both produce an overwhelmingLY positive state of mind that lifts one beyond the grim realities of life even to the point of irrationality ( but that's what is so good about experiencing them), or I could just say PURPLE MONKEY DISHWASHER!!!!

Actually despite what you e-poppers think, the song is obviously about falling in deep love and the happiness that comes from that.

"You know when you feel it You know when it hits you There's no mistake when you fall You don't anticipate it You can't calculate it It just comes crashing through your walls"

You can't make yourself fall in love, it's a feeling that comes rushing in.

"I'll love you 'till the sky falls down I'll love you 'till I can't feel anything, Not anything at all Even when you're not around I'll love you 'till the sky falls down I'm flying 'til I hit the ground And lying there and I don't feel anything Not anything at all And even when you're not around I'll love you 'till the sky falls down"

Being madly and blindly in love.

"You lose all sense of reason You have no sense of danger It's like you're living in a dream. It lets you float through crowds and Makes you smile at strangers It's just the greatest state of being"

The ecstasy (lol) that comes from being blindly in love.

God not everything relates too drugs, pretty much all of Justine's songs are about relationships and breaking up, if you want a song that is closest to "Drugs" go with Wall of Sound, you could relate that about some drug dealer pushing drugs on some girl I guess.

Actually despite what you romantics think, the song is obviously about popping E and the euphoric trip that comes from that.

The hypothesis of ecta is interesting, though I think it is talking more about love. Love is like a drug, it makes you intensily happy, sometimes stupid. It reminds me of "You really are my ectasy" of ATB. ('scuse me if you don't understand, I don't speak English)

Mountain Song
Jane's Addiction
Jane's Addiction vocalist Perry Farrell gives Adam Reader some heartfelt insight into Jane’s Addiction's hard rock manifesto "Mountain Song", which was the second single from their revolutionary album Nothing's Shocking. Mountain song was first recorded in 1986 and appeared on the soundtrack to the film Dudes starring Jon Cryer. The version on Nothing's Shocking was re-recorded in 1988. "'Mountain Song' was actually about... I hate to say it but... drugs. Climbing this mountain and getting as high as you can, and then coming down that mountain," reveals Farrell. "What it feels to descend from the mountain top... not easy at all. The ascension is tough but exhilarating. Getting down is... it's a real bummer. Drugs is not for everybody obviously. For me, I wanted to experience the heights, and the lows come along with it." "There's a part - 'Cash in now honey, cash in Miss Smith.' Miss Smith is my Mother; our last name was Smith. Cashing in when she cashed in her life. So... she decided that, to her... at that time, she was desperate. Life wasn't worth it for her, that was her opinion. Some people think, never take your life, and some people find that their life isn't worth living. She was in love with my Dad, and my Dad was not faithful to her, and it broke her heart. She was very desperate and she did something that I know she regrets."

I Can't Go To Sleep
Wu-Tang Clan
This song is written as the perspective of the boys in the street, as a whole, and what path they are going to choose as they get older and grow into men. (This is why the music video takes place in an orphanage.) The seen, and unseen collective suffering is imbedded in the boys’ mind, consciously or subconsciously, and is haunting them. Which path will the boys choose? Issac Hayes is the voice of reason, maybe God, the angel on his shoulder, or the voice of his forefathers from beyond the grave who can see the big picture and are pleading with the boys not to continue the violence and pattern of killing their brothers, but to rise above. The most beautiful song and has so many levels. Racism towards African Americans in America would not exist if everyone sat down and listened to this song and understood the history behind the words. The power, fear, pleading in RZA and Ghostface voices are genuine and powerful. Issac Hayes’ strong voice makes the perfect strong father figure, who is possibly from beyond the grave.

Amazing
Ed Sheeran
Ed Sheeran tells a story of unsuccessfully trying to feel “Amazing.” This track is about the being weighed down by emotional stress despite valiant attempts to find some positivity in the situation. This track was written by Ed Sheeran from the perspective of his friend. From the track, we see this person fall deeper into the negative thoughts and slide further down the path of mental torment with every lyric.
