I think much like another song “Anti-Matter” (that's also on the same album as this song), this one is also is inspired by a horrifying van crash the band experienced on Nov 3, 2022. This, much like the other track, sounds like it's an extension what they shared while huddled in the wreckage, as they helped frontman Garrett Russell stem the bleeding from his head wound while he was under the temporary effects of a concussion. The track speaks of where the mind goes at the most desperate & desolate of times, when it just about slips away to all but disconnect itself, and the aftermath.
and i'll go
take a walk inside your head
so that i can see your thoughts
i'll try not to hold back
but i'm thinking when you smile
for your blue skies
for those times you felt alive
breathing and softly releasing
i won't let you go
i think i know what you won't tell me
i've got this figured out and then you
go and change it
you go and change it
i think i know what you won't tell me
i've got this figured out and then you
go and change it
you go and change it
go and change it
you go and change it
you know
you've got me in your hands
i'll break before i walk
tonight we broke our plans
to play games with our hearts
for your blue skies
for those times you felt alive
breathing and softly releasing
i won't let you go
i think i know what you won't tell me
i've got this figured out and then you
go and change it
you go and change it
i think i know what you won't tell me
i've got this figured out and then you
go and change it
you go and change it
go and change it
you go and change it
i think i know what you won't tell me
I've got this figured out and then you...

dude this song is pretty damn sick for a POP punk song...i mean this band is basically leaning into the pop world and not in the punk world but being a listener to punk...i have to say i like it. i like going through people's heads
awesome song!
it's but you wont tell me, not what you wont tell me...
this songs good. spitalfield is from my home town. so i like them alot.
gr8 song the guitar is sweet, especially at the beginning. does ne1 know where i can get a tab for this song?
a guitar tab***
i agree that they are a good band, especially for a pop punk one at that
Spitalfield is amazing, but does anyone have an idea about the meaning?
I have no idea about the meaning. You can kinda get what it means, but it's hard to put into words. O_o; Good song, nonetheless. Makes me feel like crying, actually. Because it's so happy. Ehh.
I think its kinda bout somebody trying to understand their boyfriend or girlfriend. Maybe they think theyre doing something they don't want to tell them and they are trying to figure it out, but can't quite understand it.
Youve got me in your hands Ill break before I walk
