I always looked at this song as a way of expressing anger. It does hint that he wants to commit suicide, but I also infer that he wants to let it be known and leave a mass destruction behind.

Imagine someone in a big building with explosives around them. Not many people would do that to kill themselves..they would do it to harm others also.
