Ok, to me, this song’s impression on me is that it is about a person who has lost his self-esteem (and possibly his mind) and “needs” this other person’s love, more specifically, a person’s physical love, in order to make him stable again. In a way, it sounds like something has gone wrong in his life and that he's given up on trying to find what he can do right. Maybe he's trying to show her that life sucks, so they might as well enjoy what they can. So, he’s trying to convince her that they need each other for the security. It’s kinda like he’s arguing with her. But you can’t hear her side of the conversation

[just re-enforcing what I was saying about this person being a little, ahem, “lost” in life]
