I'm definately thinking that it is relating to God. You have highs and lows in your relationship with God. For me, I never even really realize when I am falling away and when I do, I realize how much deeper I could have been. "This is where the water becomes shallow And nothing here is quite as deep As you hoped it would be". A lot of the other stuff really speaks for itself.
