this is a beautiful song - beautiful melody - indeed. every time I hear it, I can hardly believe that sixpence none the richer sang "kiss me" also.
I love the idea of "this is my call .... " because it carries two implications, two drastically different ideas:
this is MY call, my decision. like she's saying, "it's ok ... you haven't forced me to be so wrapped up ... this is what I've decided for myself."
or
"this is my call" as in ... this is my calling ... it's what I feel drawn to. I'm tending toward this option, just because of the general helpless feeling I get from this song. either way is just ... awesome.
