Icarus flew too close to the sun and his fake wings melted and he fell. when soar too far on our pride, it always turns out the same way, we end up falling.
"to turn away and not become another nail to pierce the skin of one who loves, more deeply than the oceans, more abundant than the tears of a world embracing every heartache"
This pessimistic world that dwells on every heartache has a huge abundance of tears. Jesus loves us way more than that. His love is stronger than our pain. Why can't the world see that?
