i think this song will always make me nostalgic. i first heard it when i was reunited with my best friend. he had told me he loved me and then freaked out 6 months earlier, and we hadn't talked since.
during those six months both our lives were undescribably hellish for many reasons..
and then, ironically thanks to my now ex boyfriend, we started talking again and a few days later he was living with me and my parents in my own house.
he brought with him a car and a hoobastank cd, and now whenever i hear this song i remember how wonderful it felt speeding down a winding road with the wind and this song and that beautiful boy sitting there next to me.....
