I agree with everyone who says that 12 Stones is Christain ... they are! If you look in the sleeve of the cd, in the thank you section, each member except one specifically thanks God and Jesus Christ and some detail, the lead guitarist even throws in a verse from the Bible (Phillipians 4:13). If you look at the lyrics for each and every single song, each time there is a "you" it can very easily be seen as directed towards God. About the "hell" at the end of the video "Broken" ... here's an interesting interpretation of the video ... the hotel that the lead singer is running through and checking all of the doors, the hotel is like our heart ... some doors we try to lock and behind them are sins that we try to hide and not let God see (although He does). That old guy at the end is like the devil and saying hell is symbolic of that. I know it sounds like a compromise, but on a symbolic level it's not. I think probably one of the best things for Christian bands that are considered secular is for them to not overwhlem the people and slam everyone over the head with Christianity ... God does not do that and neither does the Holy Spirit, although some people do take it too far (the worst thing a professed Christian can do) and tell everyone that they're going to hell. Doing this allows the Word to be spoken everywhere it can before people reject it before hearing it. As for POD playing on Ozzfest and going on Howard Stern, that's a great out reach for them!! Jesus didn't "hang out" with his disciples constantly ... he ate at the houses of people that the town considered "sinners." Jesus came to seek and save those who were lost, the essence of Christianity, and Christians are called to do the same thing (Matthew 28:16-20). So, I don't know how to end this ... 12 Stones is Christian, and they have a great ministry by not trying to bash everyone over the head with Christianity. God bless you all! -no_necklace
