uhh...what the hell are you guys talking about the part where he abuses his mother? The version that I hear on the radio he is like "oww mommy why do you hit ME like that" or something similar to that....so it wouldn't make sense to say that he is doing that to his mother?
by the way the way the song is it doesnt seem like he's talking about his mother and now that I read that he is saying that it's not about his mother then...uh...duuh...it's not about his mother;)
