i dont think slayer are actually nazis or trying to promote nazi beliefs. kerry king has said in numerous interviews that he's just a world war 2 buff. other bands have worn swastikas too, just for the shock value, especially early punk bands (sex pistols, new york dolls, siouxe and the banshees, etc) and they certainly arent nazis.
and i have heard slayers song "angel of death" about aushwitz, but most of their songs are about death and pain, this one is just in the context of the holocast. you dont have to agree with the motivation behind something to make a song about it. like i dont think cannibal corpse actually partake in "meat hook sodomy".
