when i first heard this song about 5 years ago, i didnt hear it as being about growing up at all. it brought up feelings of one of my own past experiences having gotten involved with someone that i shouldnt have, who forced me in to sex when i was only 14 and changed my life forever. if you read the lyrics through that scope, they match really well with the emotions brought in to my life at least, by this experience. just a different persepctive.
