i know this probably isn't the real meaning of it..but i'm listening to this song a lot right now, and this is the time when a lot of my friends, including my sister/best friend are leaving for college and university, and the line "and if you need to find me i'll be wandering the streets dining alone at all our favorite places to eat and drinking alone waiting on the phone to ring ... then i'll walk on and you'll just say that feelings fail and people change" really just makes me think of how it might be when we see each other again, how it might be, how i hope it won't be. it's just a very sad song.
