In attempting to analyze this song I realised that the lines "I can't see them when they walk in sideways" and "they can't see you when you walk in sideways" would mean that the person in question is either one-dimensional or two-dimensional.
Think about it -- we are 3D. Height, width, and length.
2D is height and length -- no width, which means if you turn yourself sideways you'd be virtually invisible. 1D is generally impossible, but nevertheless you'd be invisible when turned sideways.
