I love this song. It's so true too. It's like, after you break up with someone or they break up with you, somehow it's a strange comfort to know that they're feeling pain too. That way you know that you really did mean something to them. And if they don't seem like it affected them at all, it hurts so much because you start thinking 'maybe they didn't care', 'maybe they never really loved me', 'i'm not as good as him/her'. I think we all are just a little sadistic when it comes to things like this. The other person feeling pain just SOMEHOW in us, makes the pain tolerable. Shared sorrow if half sorrow.
