Baltimora is the name not of a band, but was the pseudonym of Jimmy McShane. I am told that he died of AIDS in the early '90s, though I have not confirmed this. Baltimora's lone hit was "Tarzan Boy" which can still be heard occasionally in the US as the music to Listerene commercials
Baltimora was a group-- not just Jimmy McShane, although he was definitely a member. They were an Italian new wave group.

Sidenote: that I always thought was interesting is that while Jimmy's the one in the video for Tarzan's Boy, rumor has that Jimmy only sang the background vocals and it was, in fact, Maurizio Bassi that is the lead vocalist on this song. I certainly think that's possible given the way "Tarzan", "rushing" and "sunny" are pronounced in the song. Doesn't sound like an Irish accent, but rather an Italian accent, especially on the second time he sings...
