for me, this song has a lot of symbolism. the sun represents a girl's availibility, and when it's up, she is single. but he doesn't really seem to notice or care when the sun is "up". but when the sun goes "down", or she starts to see someone, he wants to get with her. this happens a few times, and he realizes that he never goes after her until he can't have her. that's just what i got from it. listen to the movielife
